Weekend of 3rd & 4th October
Carol's upholstery workshop has been at the Propeller Foundry for 8 years.
There will be a few chairs for sale as well as fabric books, a fabric sale and a few chairs-in progress to inspect. A few other LCC members will also be on hand to talk chairs as well!
All are welcome. Come and join us for a Bucks Fizz.
The day is very well organised with plenty for everyone to enjoy; including snooping around the creative workplace of some very talented people!
On 3rd & 4th October, over 80 artists will invite visitors into this major creative centre. Visitors will be able to view work ranging from the drawn and painted to sculpture, jewellery and ceramics. They will have the unique opportunity to see the fine artist’s work, their studios and processes. The event will both intrigue and inspire, and will include features such as a ‘Historic View’ comprising a video and graphic story of the Propeller Foundry building and it’s industrial heritage and a ‘Family Trail’ for the younger family visitors. We will be holding a silent auction of artist’s postcards over the weekend; artworks will be available to be viewed online from 26th September. We will also be opening the ‘Foundry Gallery’ which will exhibit selected works. Refreshments will be available, including hand-crafted pastries and a range of freshly ground coffee.
