The London Chair Collective

Upholstery by Vic Sowerby

Vic spent four years studying upholstery at London Metropolitan University, receiving her City & Guilds certificate of advanced upholstery in 2008. She is particularly interested in reinventing old, unloved, often discarded items.

From a Victorian iron back chaise longue to an original Arne Jacobsen Egg Chair, she breathes new life into each piece using decadent fabrics and traditional techniques. Vic lives and works in North London.
